Mercedes Generation EQ Concept Car
Presenting its vision of the future, Mercedes introduced the Generation EQ Car Concept at the Paris Show in September 2016. The all-electric SUV is shaped by the future and offers a unique look we all love and want.
The Generation EQ concept car features the removal of the side mirrors and replacing them with cameras, hiding the windshield wipers and door handles to obtain a cleaner aerodynamic shape. Not only that
Not only that the car has a lot of LED lights on the exterior, the interior follows the same style, filled with electric illumination strips and a large 24-inch TFT screen that replaces the traditional instrument panel.
Mercedes want its new EQ brand to be known by its electric mobility ecosystem and smart features. Featuring two electric motors, one on each axle, that can produce 300kW of power and last for as long as 500km (310 miles) on a single charge. The car features fast charging solutions that will add 100 miles of extra range to the car from just five minutes of charging and it can reach 60mph in under five seconds.
